Electric

When it comes to the price of electrical power, Georgia is one of the least expensive states in the country.  In fact, Georgia ‘s electrical rates are some of the most affordable in the nation.  Electrical rates range between $0.10 – $0.12 per kW for residential rates.  Industrial rates are even lower, ranging from $0.07 – $0.10, depending on the electrical consumption.

Three companies offer electric service to companies in the Thomaston/Upson County area.  The Industrial Development Authority will be happy to arrange appointments with all the electrical providers on behalf of the prospective company.
