In addition to our local incentives, Upson County is designated by the state as a Tier One community, which provides a $4,000 job tax credit for new jobs created.

As for transportation, we are located at the intersection of three key highways – US 19 and GA 36 and 74.  Additionally, our general aviation airport – the newest in Georgia – has a 6,351-foot runway, and is used as a model by the state when other communities are looking to develop or expand their aviation infrastructure.
